The steel arch buildings of JM Steel Oy are suitable for many different uses, including manufacture, warehousing, agriculture and recreational purposes. These buildings can be used as industrial buildings, warehouses, machine halls, riding maneges, animal shelters or recreational halls, for example.

JM Steel steel arch buildings are of a completely new kind of look and manufacture. As well as the modern pitched roof structure we also manufacture the more traditional semi-circular model.

The maximum width of the building cannot exceed 20m, while the maximum height is 11m. The length of the building can be practically unlimited although always in 615m increments. Typically, the most successful size of building has a length twice that of the width, so the base is oblong in shape.

Due to their modular nature, the steel arch buildings are easy and quick to erect. The transport costs are also small while all the necessary parts fit within a very small space for transport.

Stress analysis has been completed in Finland and England ensuring that the current construction standards are definitely met (Eurocode 3 and CE). 2.75 kN/m² has been used as the base snow load. This covers most of the area of Finland In some parts of Northern Finland the snow load is higher at 3.5 kN/m² but we are able to also fill these requirements with a slightly narrower building. This means the buildings we manufacture are particularly well-suited to the demanding conditions in the north.
